General Warmup and Mobility and Technique
“HEAVY DAY – BACK SQUATS”
Take your time as this is a strength day and the focus is on getting a very heavy set of 3.
Make these look great. Meaning maintaining proper posture is more important than depth. Have your trainer watch your squat. If you can make it look good with an air squat you can make it look great with a bar. In other words, if your squat isn’t to depth that’s ok if it’s a mobility issue. If it’s high because the weight is heavy it’s not.
Do an easy 800 meter run or 1000 row or 5k bike. Key word is easy.
This is the second heavy day in a row. The only reason for the run or row is to flush the body from heavy squats and for those of you who feel you didn’t get a workout unless you get a highly elevated heart rate.
