30 Snatches for time with a one-minute time cap.
However, with Eddie Hall getting a lot of publicity for doing this workout in 51 seconds, Rx one needs to ask what does it feel like both from an effort and metabolic response to move that fast.
Your practice round will be to pick a weight that you think you can do 30 in a minute with and shoot for 10 reps in 20 seconds.
Go up or down from that weight depending on perceived exertion. Rest 5 minutes and see what you can do. It’s best to partner up and have one person count and help you keep pace then switch. A quick word of advice if you put the bar down or rest overhead you will fail in this challenge.
So here is the challenge. Pick a weight you think you can get 30 reps in one minute, then do a 20-second ten rep test. If you feel that you can do that weight for all 30 reps and finish under a minute that’s your workout weight. Go up or down from the test weight depending on perceived exertion. I will be posting more before the workout but just a quick heads up I tried this challenge with 65 pounds on Thursday and did it in 64 seconds and did it on Friday with 55 pounds and still failed to go under a minute but was close with 55 pounds. To be successful you will not be able to put the bar down and you have to move fast, very fast.
