The Story of The Chief:
The WOD known as “The Chief” honors the elite Sailors of the US Navy who are selected to serve as Chief Petty Officers as well as their families. They exemplify self-sacrifice, tireless dedication to their mission and devotion to their country. The Navy has relied on Chiefs since 1893 to lead as personal example, for their technical expertise and their ability to lead others.
