Everyone in the fitness business wants you to know about their weight and fat loss stories (ourselves included) but not all transformation stories are all about numbers on the scales.
While all of our 28 day challenge winners in 2016 lost over 15 pounds in 28 days and many of our long term members boast weight loss numbers of 20, 30 and even over 50 pounds my favorite stories are the people who have dramatically changed a bad health situation, got off of medications or avoided them altogether.
One of our March challenge members Chris Bermudez shared the following
Good morning, I wanted to share this with you and your team. As you can see from the first picture, please note my blood pressure/date. One month later from those vitals I had the opportunity in signing up with I-35 CrossFit. Now one month later from me attending CrossFit, please note the second blood pressure. On 02/04/2016, my visit with family medicine, the physician wanted to place me on medication, I refused. I have changed my diet slightly but I credit your team for this. You and your team give the motivation & encouragement to want to work out. The proof is in the numbers. For this I thank you.
P.S. When my B/P was taken last Saturday I was shocked. I asked if they could take it again. They took it twice more and on a different machine with similar results.
These are the types of changes that happen simply by showing up and doing the workouts.
You don’t have to be in shape or have any athletic ability you just need to show up show up.
The May Transformation Challenge starts Saturday April 30 at 10:30.
Signups are now open.
See you at the gym.
